The Water Garden

In their quest to re-engineer how humans use resources and their relationship to the earth, gorgeous TOTO is the recreation of Japanese designs for everyday use. Placing ecology, first, TOTO looks to how people use water and how it returns to the earth. The flushing, faucet, and bidet systems are the beginnings of what goes into their well-crafted design for the modernized bathrooms and vanities. Thinking beyond immediate use, their designs look to how much water can be optimized for the task, to how each drop of contaminated water then can be reused or reincorporated back to the ecological system (with a zen-like quality).
