Dolce & Gabbana goes SMEG

When a company manufactures utility based products, there is nothing more delightful than to bring in a designer (2017) like Dolce & Gabbana, who showcased to the world the meaning that more can be even more. The Sicily is My Love line of appliances are reminiscent to wall murals resized into a scale that is form fitting to the unique SMEG silhouette. It only makes sense because the SMEG appliance often evokes retro-fitting or is the centerpiece of a modern or blank-canvas kitchen. To draw attention back to the design would require the skill of an artist/designer, and D&G is both.
